Priesta!

I am a freshman for 3 more weeks. In the month of June, I will become a sophomore. I currently attend San Pasqual High school, but I will be moving either next month in June, or possibly July. I do not know yet what school I will attend. Hopefully, next year for me will be a better and more successful one. I am aiming to have better grades, an improved attitude, and most importantly, a much better effort into my work. Motivation is myself in this case. Why myself? Because, I look at what I have been doing wrong and where my errors stand, and I am just plain done with it. It makes me look like I have no potential and that is not who or what I am. So, that’s where I find the motivation in myself.

Work

I am currently working in the café, but I am not paid. I enjoy working there for many reasons though. One of my reasons for that is because it will give me skills that I can use in the future. I can use that as a reference on my resume. Also, it will give me skills in another way, because it teaches me the basics of cooking and cleaning. Also, Johnny, the café manager, is a disciplined boss to me and the other workers.

When my birthday comes in about a month and a half or two months, I am going to work at McDonald’s and get a decent pay. I am overall very excited. It gives me a real job with real pay, and it is a good job to start off with, though it is not my first job.

Work

This quarter, I will get A much better grade . In order to achieve this, I will improve academically, and come to class on time. I will think before I speak, and do A better job of getting all of my homework done with my best effort.

This quarter, I will get nothing lower then a C grade. In order to achieve this, I will use all of my time very much more wisely, and focus more and not have any side distractions.

Imagery

At first, I thought imagery was A picture book. But I learned that this was wrong. Actually, imagery is the picture that you get in your head when you read or hear the book. I also learned about figurative language. I used to think figurative language was bigger words in books. But I learned that figurative language is language enriched by word images and figures of speech. The three main types of figurative language are metaphor, metonomy, and synecdoche.

3rd Quarter Goals

This quarter, I will try to get a B+ grade. And if not a B, then I will go no less then a C-. In order to achieve this, I will stay focussed and get my act together, and if i see my self slipping and falling, i will fix and correct those mistakes. And, IO will relize all of my flaws.
This quarter, I will shape up and have a better atiitude. In order to achieve this, I will pay attention, and use my self control.

This quarter, I will also get a better citizenship grade. In order to achieve this, I will look at everything i have done behaviorwise in the past and learn from those mistakes to better myself.
